Social media fails: how not to be recruited As people2people recruitment’s Digital Marketing & Communications Specialist, I was searching through Twitter one day to connect with job seekers who had applied for various jobs through people2people, and I was appalled by what I found. You wouldn’t believe the number of people with obscene Twitter accounts that are directly linked to an email address they use for professional purposes. Realizing that, even in 2014, a shocking number of web users are still entirely unaware of just how public their information is, I took to the people2people blog to share a few reminders on how to manage a social media reputation.     Hi Kirstie, I used to only Facebook-check my future colleagues, Twitter was less popular in France a few years ago. I will think about it more from now on.
